DISCOVERY POINT KIDS

DiscoveryPoint is the kids' ministry of CrossPoint Church.  It's where kids ages 4-12 discover the God of the Bible through encountering His presence and the relevant application of His Word.  Our objective is to be a thriving Spirit-filled children’s ministry that produces lifelong disciples, young preachers, worshipers, and students of the Bible.

1. Lay a foundation for the study of God’s word at an early age, in order to prepare for students to go deeper in the Word as they grow older, while helping each student learn at his ability.
2. Produce young people that will become thriving leaders when they enter the youth ministries at age 12 by encouraging them them to have a genuine born again experience and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
3. Encourage students to serve at a young age by using them in various ministry capacities, such as volunteers and helpers.
4. Create connections among the students that produce life-long friendships.
5. Provide a safe and healthy environment for kids to ask questions and discover the truth of the Word.
