what to expect

Our casual church environment allows people at all stages of life to enjoy the presence of God.  We are a Spirit-filled Pentecostal congregation, and our service format consists of dynamic praise and worship combined with practical Biblical teaching and passionate anointed preaching. Every time we meet, we expect a visitation of the Spirit of God, resulting in people being challenged, encouraged and changed.  In every service we provide an opportunity to personally receive prayer for healing, comfort, guidance, deliverance, and salvation.  ​Our worship is lively, passionate, and exciting.  We believe worship should be expressed freely and diversely.  As Pentecostal Spirit-filled believers, we believe worship should be a time of celebration and rejoicing. You can expect:  

• A Growing Atmosphere: We grow through the Word and Spirit.  You will hear preaching that is deeper than motivational speaking.  Our pastors will preach the Word of God with a love, passion, and an anointing that will challenge you to become more like Jesus.  
•  A Generational Atmosphere:  We strive to reach every generation from the child to the elderly.  We want everyone to have an encounter with Jesus.  Our music may included a diverse mixture from the oldest hymn to the newest worship song, yet we assure you it will be lively and anointed so that every generation will be able to worship.  We work hard to honor those our heritage and inspire our future.
•  A Glorious Atmosphere:  Jesus will be magnified, the cross will be preached, and the Spirit of God is permitted to move freely.  People will celebrate God’s presence in various ways.  Some may raise their hands, some may kneel, some may rejoice in a dance.  We want everyone to feel free to express their worship to God.ministry that produces lifelong disciples, young preachers, worshipers, and students of the Bible.

We offer three exciting worship services each week:  Sunday at 10 am & 6 pm and Wednesday at 7 pm.  The doors  open an hour in advance. If you are running late, then that’s okay.  We don’t mind.  We just want you to come.

We encourage you to wear whatever you are comfortable in.  No need to dress up, unless you want to.  Some will wear jeans, some will wear dress slacks, some will wear shorts.  We are diverse; everyone is welcome just as they are.

Infants, toddlers, kids, and teens...we minister to all.  

1. Our well-equipped staff provides a safe and fun nursery that is available at every service to children under the age of 4.  
2. Kids ages 4-11 will have a blast encountering God in relevant, practical, yet powerful ways in Discovery Point children's church.  
3. Our teens worship with the adults, and here's why:  We want our teens to know that they are part of the church.  Our services are designed to be cutting-edge, relevant, and modern...yet powerfully anointed to reach every generation.  We encourage our youth to set on the front few rows as a group.  We want our teens actively involved.
